The people of Balti are invited to a concert to help children with disabilities

On Saturday, June 16, a charity concert will be held in the central square of Balti to raise funds for the public organization “Dreptul de a fi”, whose beneficiaries are families with disabled children.

The concert will begin at 9 am. The program includes performances of children’s vocal and dance groups from municipal cultural institutions: “Do-re-mi”, “Tineretea”, “Vintulet” and many others. Special boxes for collecting money will be installed, in which anyone could drop all possible assistance.

“Dancers and singers decided to do this concert to help us raise funds for the needs of the organization. First of all, we plan to purchase several special wheelchairs for bedridden children. These children spend the whole day within four walls, because of the lack of special chairs, parents cannot take them outside, children have limited social circle, ”explained the head of NGO“ Dreptul de a fi ”Natalia Protiuc.

Also, social activists dream to raise funds with the help of concerned people for the procurement of  premises in which the Republican rehabilitation center for children with disabilities will be opened, it will be targeted not only at children from Balti, but also from other parts of the country.  “We understand that we need a lot of money to buy our own premises, so for now we are planning to rent it. We are looking for suitable options. We welcome any help from concerned people. Perhaps there will be those who will be able to provide us with premises for the center”, emphasized Natalia Protiuc.
