Come to the concert and give the joy of movement

The benefit concert will take place on August, 23 at 10:00 on the central square in front of the cinema.

The event was organized by “Salut, Bălţi” volunteer movement together with the non-governmental organization “Dreptul de a fi”.   The aim of the campaign is to raise funds for purchasing missing components for wheelchairs, which, after restoration, will be handed over to people in need.  The main initiator of the event was a young participant in “Salut, Bălţi”  movement Svetlana Butnari.

“At first, I wanted to find a person who needs material assistance for treatment or surgery. After talking to Natalia Protiuc, the founder of the NGO “Dreptul de a fi”, I realized that this is a chance to help not only one person, but all those for whom a wheelchair is the only way to move independently”, said Svetlana.

The event will be attended by children with disabilities, volunteers from various organizations, as well as Balti artistic groups.   Anyone wishing to help will be able to leave donations in a special box or to contact personally the organizers.
