The contest which we announced earlier was aimed at drawing attention to the problem of illegal cutting down of Christmas trees before winter holidays.
Our wards made handicrafts in the form of Christmas trees, in order to remind everyone that it is possible to resort to eco-friendly solutions without harm to nature: decorate a Christmas tree growing in the yard, following their example, make a Christmas tree from recycled materials: paper, fabric etc., buy an artificial Christmas tree that will delight the family for many years.
From December 21 to 25, an open online voting took place, in which our volunteers, sponsors, friends and wards of “Dreptul de a fi” organization took part.
11 Christmas trees reached the qualifying round. On December 25, at 17:00 in a live Facebook broadcast, the counting commission headed by the Snow Maiden closed the vote and counted the results. The Audience Award was unconditionally granted to Artem Colenchivschi, who got a record number of votes. The counting commission was so impressed by the children’s crafts that they awarded more prizes than it is stipulated in the regulations.
3rd place was shared between Marina Cuceriavaia, Dolgih family and Ianina Chitiic.
2nd place went to Camerzan family and Ivan Guleac
1 prize won Daniil Guleac.
No one was left without prizes. The rest of the Christmas trees won such nominations as “The most delicious Christmas tree” from Gasitoi family, “The most unusual Christmas tree” from Lesanu family, “The most tender Christmas tree” from Bordianu family, “The Christmas tree with combat nature” from Victoria Covalciucenco.
In compliance with all measures against coronavirus infection, the winners will receive their prizes later, individually. We would like to thank the sponsors for the opportunity to please our children before the holidays and our friends -“Nezabudki” group for supporting our actions. We wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year!
