Helping those in need during the quarantine

It is easier to survive any difficulties together, through a coordinated work team. During the spread of the coronavirus infection and the imposition of restrictions, people with disabilities are one of the most vulnerable groups. Some of them are having difficulty moving, others have not been ready for restrictions and were left without the most necessary products.

With the introduction of restrictive measures Association “Dreptul de a fi” organized mobile assistance teams and began delivering essential goods to families from the Northern region of Moldova. More than 70 families received assistance in March, that included food, disinfectants, masks, gloves, detergents. People with disabilities often have chronic diseases, we have tried to protect them from unnecessary social contacts and brought them medicines.

Together we can help more people in need and organize delivery of food, essential goods and medicines. We will be happy to receive the assistance from volunteers and economic agents, join us.
